Microsoft brings back Windows 7 'family pack'

Microsoft plans to again sell a "family pack" of Windows 7 that includes three copies of the Home Premium edition of the operating system.
(Credit: Amazon.com)
Microsoft offered such a bundle when Windows 7 launched, but billed it as a limited-time offer. In less than two months, supplies had largely run out. The Windows 7 Family pack will go back on sale on Oct. 3 for a suggested price of $149.99. As before, the licenses are upgrade copies, meaning each computer already needs to be properly licensed for Windows XP or Windows Vista.
Once again, Microsoft is choosing to sell only a limited number of family packs.
"Don't delay," Microsoft said in a blog post Wednesday. "The Windows 7 Family Pack will be available soon while supplies last."
Microsoft also plans to start selling the family pack again in many other places, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Australia, though places outside the U.S. will have to wait until at least Oct. 22.
I have to say, creating scarcity out of a resource as seemingly infinite as ones and zeros is an impressive marketing trick.
Apple has a similar option with Mac OS X, though its bundle covers five computers in the same household and Apple has offered the option consistently since it first added it in 2002.

2.Put 3 bananas in the blender.
3.Take 1 Table spoon of sugar and put it in the blender.

     4. Put in a table spoon of honey -or just pour some directly from the bottle, whatever is easier.

     5. Blend on highest possible until you believe all the banana chunks have been blended.

     6.  Crack the 3 eggs in the blender and blend again.

Do not put ice, it is recommended to refrigerate after made instead of ice as Ice ruins the flavor of the drink.  You can try ice, I never really did, so go ahead and put in some ice if you want.  If you don't mind it not being ice cold, then enjoy, the cold milk should have made it a bit cool.  If not, refrigerate it.

     7. Grab a cup, pour yourself a drink, and enjoy.

Hey Everyone!

So, how is everyone doing today?  Me and my girlfriend just spent some quality time playing some Wii and PS3, shit was so awesome.  She never played on the Wii but damn, she got good fast.  Shit was fun with me and her. She had to leave pretty early though, her mom wanted her to come back home, shit sucks when your girlfriend still lives with her parents, Haha.  To bad she won't take that offer to live with me...oh well.

So, how have you guys been doing lately?  Any news that interest you?  I'm still looking into that whole USA, Isreal, and Iran thing.  And what with the Mosque and the Oil spill popping up over and over again, it's been pretty interesting.

So, leave a comment here, what are you worried about?  Got any fun news to share?  Or maybe, how was your day?

The ACTA, The evil of all evils.

Now, I'm sure MANY of you have heard of the evil ACTA....the ACTA definitely needs to be stopped.  The best way for now is to increase awareness.  Spread posters, sign on petitions, tell your friends, family, etc.  The ACTA is the enemy of the internet itself.  Something like this can't just go by, we need to inform anyone and everyone we can. Click Here to go to a topic on an Anti-ACTA forum that tells you what it is and how you can help spread the word.

You can download a packet of posters that can be spread around by clicking Here

Please, spread the word!

Obama says he isn't worried about Muslim rumors

NEW ORLEANS – President Barack Obama said Sunday he isn't worried about a recent poll showing that nearly one-fifth of Americans believe he is a Muslim. "The facts are the facts," said Obama, who is a Christian. In an interview broadcast on "NBC Nightly News," the president blamed the confusion over his religious beliefs on "a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly."
A poll released earlier this month by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center showed that 18 percent of people believe Obama is Muslim. That was up from 11 percent who said so in March 2009. Just 34 percent said Obama is Christian, down from 48 percent who said so last year.
"I'm not gonna be worrying too much about whatever rumors are floating on out there," Obama said Sunday. "If I spend all my time chasing after that, then I wouldn't get much done."
Asked about persistent accusations that he wasn't born in the United States, the president responded, "I can't spend all my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead."
NBC anchorman Brian Williams also asked Obama about conservative commentator Glenn Beck's rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday. While he didn't watch the event, Obama said, "I think that Mr. Beck and the rest of those folks were exercising their rights under our Constitution exactly as they should."
The president acknowledged the ralliers' concerns about the economy and terrorism and observed, "Given the fact that, you know, in none of these situations are you gonna fix things overnight, it's not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country."
Obama added: "I have no doubt that we are gonna rebound and rebound strong. But when you're in the middle of it, and if you don't have a job right now, it's a tough, tough situation."
I truthfully still think he's a Muslim, I mean come on...I understand the mosque but really, there are already churches near ground Zero, does there really have to be a mosque/community center/whatever the **** it is?  He also isn't really doing a great job with Isreal and Iran, I can tell you that much.
